Nothing. We have closets full of nothing to eat. So says the 12 yr old.
Greg tried to hijack the picture thread with thisand it got me to wondering what the rest of you have in your kitchen cabinets/pantries.Ever use clam juice instead of the chicken stock?
Kinda funny that we are having this discussion. I went to the store today and put everything away (of course) Now I'm looking at it all thinking Whats for dinner?
Really differnt when you are usually cooking for 1, changes the way you buy things and I almost always have leftovers
So, what do you have?
Nothing. We have closets full of nothing to eat. So says the 12 yr old.
Well I went to the store today, so we'll start with food.
Chicken breasts, Pork Chops (boneless), ground Sirloin, dried pasta, wheat bread, broccoli, Some Wolgang Puck Soup, 'mater soup, BBQ sauce ,lettuce, maters, nanners, Carrots, spinach (frozen) snack bars, pudding cups (I had a fudge brownie but I ate it) some redskin spuds, cheese, turkey breast. chips, salsa, pickles, sweet tater, canned corn, cow squeezins, orange squeezins, beer, pop, rasberry lemonade, spices, seasonings (worchestishire, teriyaki sauce, hot sauce...) tomato sace (I live alone so it doesnt make sense to make it from scratch) oil, cooking spray, peach ice cream, breadsticks, Peanut butter, jelly some pasta mixes
As for cooking utensils
Knife set in block (chicago cuttlery)
The generall spoons, spats, wisks, pealers
Braun handmixer
silverware, plates, glasses (well duh)
microwave
two non stick skillets, complete stainless steel set (fry pan, large pot, two smaller extended handle pots with lids
small stock pot
'Za stone (pizza stone)
oil and vinegar cruets (currently empty)
toaster over
flexible cutting boards (what a great invention)
and a bunch of feezer bags and foil and film and probably a whole lot of other stuff I missed.
My kitchen is pretty well stocked
OOPS! I think I might have gone a little overboard LOL!
So also says the 27 year old when she comes to visit. Erin points out that we have ingredients, not food.
Greg!!!Step away from the keyboard NOW!!
Chicken breasts, Pork Chops (boneless), ground Sirloin, broccoli, spinach (frozen), cheese, turkey breast, cow squeezins, orange squeezins, beer, and pop DO NOT belong in a pantry.
There should be a big box in your kitchen, probably white. It has two doors and it's cold inside. A nifty light comes on when you open the bottom portion. Stuff like meat, milk and cheese go in THAT box. If you're keeping them in the pantry, scientists want to talk to you.
Well, I know but you did ask what was in my kitchen. LOL!
Actually (munch munch) posting this made me hungy so I just realized (munch munch) that I had a couple apples left (with peanut butter on 'em!
Some cereal too!

Ah, reason, I do hope it is an organic paint roller in your refrigerator.
If you tell me differently, I'll be disappointed.
Going with chicken breasts (maybe hawaiian) probably broccoli and/or carrots. Might go get a bottle of grape squeezins (the adult kind)

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find organic paint? Finding the right natural ingredients to tint the color "periwinkle" is a bitch.
